When I met Aleks, she was a young woman ready to serve, ready to grow, and ready to embrace sisterhood. From the beginning, Aleks distinguished herself through her integrity, her dedication, and her thoughtfulness.

She moved with intention. Aleks didn’t need me to hold her hand. She would take instructions and execute things perfectly the first time, nearly every time. You could see her commitment to excellence in everything she attached her name to. Aleks always showed up, always gave her best, and always rose to the occasion. She held herself to a standard that inspired the people around her, including me.

What started as a sorority connection quickly grew into a genuine friendship where I noticed she carried a beautiful duality. Aleks was real. As a friend, she told the truth gently, but honestly. She approached life with both grace and grit and was authentic in both forms.

Aleks made an impact on everyone around her and brought light into every room, which is why her nickname, “Supernova,” is so fitting. She laughed easily, loved deeply, and lived with a spirit that reminded you to enjoy the moment.
